From Struggle to Spotlight: The Inspiring Journey of an Actor

When I was a kid, things were tough because I lost my parents early on. My elder sister stepped up as our guardian. Since we weren't from a business family, relatives suggested I hit the books and find a job. But you know, I loved playing cricket. ‘Maine Ishant Sharma ke sath bohot cricket khela hai. Wo bhi Patel Nagar, Delhi se hai.’

Anyway, after high school, a friend suggested I do engineering in Amritsar. I talked with my sister, and she was like, "Sure, go for it." Plus, my younger sister was getting married, so I'd be home alone.

During college, I discovered acting, did some stage shows. And when I got back to Delhi, I joined an engineering department at a law firm in Connaught Place. On the side, I did 'Nukkad Natak' and attended acting workshops. I got my first project, which unfortunately didn’t materialise but taught me tons about action and acting. It helped me in ads and films like Jogi and CAT.

Then came 'Animal.' They needed a Sikh actor with experience, and my earlier auditions helped them find me. I didn't know about the star cast initially. For them it was normal to reveal it organically. But for someone like me who was looking for a big project, it meant a lot. Working with Ranbir Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Rasmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor, Suresh Oberoi, and Prem Chopra was a dream come true moment. They were all pros, down-to-earth, not the stereotypical celebrity vibe.

Later I found that  I was selected from 500-1000 applicants for Ranvijay's cousin role. It really boosted my confidence a lot. And talking about our director, Sandeep Sir, I’m sure that evary cast members agrees that Animal was his vision that turned into a blockbuster film.
