Our short film is conceptualised and executed in a classy, humorous and sexy way.

After professionally working in the US for thirty-odd years, my goal is to give back to the community and follow my creative aspirations. I know it sounds cliched but yaar ab aur kya karna hai? Paise enough kama liya, family bhi settled hai. Toh creativity along with devotion towards the community banta hai.

You know, bachpan se hi I was very much into creative arts like singing and writing. I loved writing poetry and short stories. And I still do! My father was a surgeon and always focused on good education. As a result, I became a doctor. Due to intense professional commitments, creative aspirations took a backseat. After moving to the US, I got the opportunity to give time to the creative keeda inside me. We began with stage events, and after that, I started a radio program of Indian music. Mere pas un dino karib 500-1000 cassette hua karte the. Tab gaane download kahaan ho paate the? So, apne jeb se paise laga k, I started a local radio show. Aur fir community ko mazza aane laga toh people began to contribute to the show. We used to host stage events and make short films to fund the program.

In between, we shifted to India. Kyonki bohot ichchha thi ke bachon ko Indian culture se familiar karaayein. During those days, Max Health Care was starting. My wife and I both were recruited. I was the Founding Medical Director of Max Healthcare. We had a great time from a professional point of view. But we realised that the Eastern upbringing I wanted for my kids was failing. People in Delhi were shifting more toward Western culture. Moreover, my parents were in the US. So, we moved back to the US, and I restarted my professional and creative journey here. In fact, I’ve made a long-format amateur movie titled ‘Mere Apne’. The film is a sweet depiction of Indian and American cultures and how they come together.

Now I’m running a charity healthcare foundation. I work for two days a week to provide free care to the needy and give the rest of my time to pursue my hobbies and creative interests. Recently, Goodnight Giggles, my first professional short film, has been released on Humara Movie. We had the time of our lives while making the movie.

The entire film is shot in a bedroom setting and explores all the things that happen between a couple in bed- from love, to sex, to conflicts, everything! The risk was that the content may appear vulgar, but it is not! We’ve conceptualised and executed the entire story in a classy, humorous and sexy way. So many funny things happen in a bedroom, where no one else is watching! Things that are taboo to discuss in public – the girl farts, the guy want to go to pee in the middle of a passionate sexual encounter……lots of such little deliciously funny anecdotes are strewn throughout the film. So get together with your partner or friends and watch the film. You may not admit publicly–but you may see yourself in the film, and will have a great time watching it!!

We’re glad to partner with Humara Movie. They release a film every week. And we feature the story of someone behind the film. After all, everyone has a story.
